Content Creator

The role

As a Content Creator at Upgrade, you'll have the opportunity to craft and create cohesive and compelling social media posts across all popular social channels. You'll be in the driver seat, leveraging brand guidelines to curate amazing creative and posts for our industry-leading real estate agent clients.

How you'll make an impact

Post creation & copywriting: Develop compelling, succinct, engaging social media posts leveraging industry best practices. Content includes various types across all popular channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) Be creative and audience-focused in your content creation. Adherence to channel and client best practices. Have the ability to curate and select images, graphics, and videos to accommodate posts. The strategy & weekly direction would be given to you by Social Media Account Manager. You would take their plan and create content accordingly.


Clients choose between 3-5 platforms for us to manage. An example of a weekly cadence would be:

3 posts in-feed on Instagram (2 of them being reels)

3 story sets on Instagram

2 posts on Facebook or LinkedIn

2-4 posts on TikTok or YouTube


Scheduling: Schedule and tag posts using enterprise-level tools such as AgoraPulse or Hey Orca. Schedule posts to meet clients' needs and cadence standards.


Content curation: Review and curate relevant industry content for social media accounts with careful vetting against client competitors. Ensure curated content is appropriate and relevant to client followings and audiences.


Community management: Daily monitoring of client social channels for mentions and social interactions. Engage with audiences as dictated by the program strategy and make recommendations for new accounts to follow.


Research: Analyze new social media technologies, stay abreast of updates, and consistently deliver strategic recommendations and tactics based on industry trends and client performance


Who you are

  • Have at least 2 years of social media content creation experience
  • Have at least 1 year of agency experience, specifically in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a presentable portfolio or work examples that showcase an elevated style & on-brand copy
  • Have experience in a creative, high-traffic, and demanding field or organization
  • Proficient in managing & developing content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Confident, creative, and delivers quality results and service every time
  • A team player who is constantly looking for better solutions and outcomes
  • Willing to stay up to date on industry knowledge, social media, and real estate trends
  • Organized and able to handle multiple projects with attention to detail

Nice to have:

  • Real estate industry experience
  • Professional copywriting experience
